Learn to find repeatable tasks, map a workflow, choose triggers and actions, place an AI step where it helps, handle errors, and measure the time you save, starting small.

Many small businesses spend hours every week on tasks that repeat: copying details between messages and sheets, sending reminders, sorting incoming requests. Automation connects these steps so that one event sets the next steps in motion. An AI step can add flexibility, for example by reading a free-text message and labelling it, but it also adds risk and needs care.
In two chapters you will learn to spot tasks worth automating, map a workflow on paper, define triggers and actions, and decide where an AI step genuinely helps and where a plain rule is safer. You will then plan for errors, keep a person in the loop for important decisions, measure the time saved honestly, and begin with one small automation. The examples are hypothetical scenarios involving businesses such as a Muscat cafe, a Riyadh online shop and a Dubai consultancy.

No. The course focuses on thinking: choosing the right task, describing it clearly and checking the result. Many automation tools use visual building blocks, and the lessons explain the ideas behind them without relying on any single product.
It can be, which is why the course starts small. An AI step can misread a message or invent a detail. You will learn to keep AI away from actions that cannot be undone, to add checks, and to route doubtful cases to a person before anything reaches a customer.
