Customers expect quick, clear answers, but a small team cannot reply to every message at every hour. A chatbot powered by AI can answer common questions at any time and pass harder ones to a person. Done badly, it frustrates people, repeats mistakes and mishandles private information. Done carefully, it gives your team time for the conversations that need a human.
This beginner course starts with the foundation: a knowledge base of accurate answers that the chatbot may use. Then you will set its tone, decide clearly when it must hand over to a human, review real conversations to catch problems, and protect customer data at every stage. The examples are hypothetical scenarios involving businesses such as a Muscat cafe, a Riyadh online shop and a Dubai consultancy.
Note: this is a sample course shown to demonstrate the platform; the full content is being prepared.
That is not the aim of this course, and nobody can say for certain how support jobs will change. A chatbot is best at simple, repeated questions. People are better with upset customers, unusual cases and decisions that involve money or judgement. You will learn to design a handover so the chatbot supports your team and the customer is never trapped in a loop.
Only with care. Share the minimum needed, remove names, contact details and payment information where possible, check your local rules and your tool's data terms, and never enter card numbers or passwords. The course explains habits for handling customer data safely, but it is not legal advice, so confirm your obligations yourself or ask a qualified adviser.
