ataa started from a simple observation: good Arabic teaching content exists, but it is scattered across WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels and manual payment links. Teachers find students but have no tools; platforms with the tools bring no students. ataa puts both in one place: you upload the course, and we run the sales page, the eight-currency checkout and the verifiable certificate.
Mission
Arabic-speaking teachers face two bad options: a global platform that takes half the revenue and hides the student's name, or building everything themselves — site, payment gateway, video hosting, subscription tracking — before recording lesson one. The first sells but never hands over ownership; the second hands over ownership but never sells.
ataa carries the whole technical side for you. The platform sells: course pages, search, categories, recommendations, and the cold visit that lands on the site looking for a skill and ends on your course. It also handles payment, invoicing, video hosting, certificate issuance and the bank transfer — while the content stays yours, withdrawable whenever you choose, under the signed teacher agreement.
What we take in return fits on one page and never changes behind your back: a commission on each sale, locked at the moment of purchase. No surprise fees, and no rate revised retroactively against sales that already happened.

The story
We followed dozens of Arabic-speaking teachers selling courses through a single post, a direct message and a manual bank transfer. The content was excellent; everything around it was broken — no invoice, no refund policy, no certificate, and no way for the student to confirm they were paying the right person.
We tested the "just give them better tools" assumption and it collapsed quickly: a teacher with no audience is not rescued by an elegant website. Discovery is the missing half — exactly what centralised marketplaces do well and community platforms do not.
We chose to build both instead of picking one: a storefront that behaves like a serious marketplace in discovery, search and trust, and behind it a studio where a teacher builds a course, uploads video, sets a quiz and issues a verifiable certificate.

The difference
A student searching for "product photography" or "financial pricing" lands on a real category page with facets, comparison and ratings — and then on your course. A teacher starting from zero audience starts from the site's own traffic, not from their own ad budget.
You keep the rights to what you teach and can withdraw a course whenever you choose. What ataa may and may not do is written in a signed teacher agreement and a published terms page — versioned, so a change is a new version you are asked to accept, never an edit behind your back.
A published commission, locked at the moment of purchase so a later increase never touches an old sale. The teacher dashboard shows pending balance, available balance and the next payout date in the same figures that reach the bank.

The interface is designed right-to-left from the start and the copy is written in Arabic first, then matched in English. We do not ship an English product, mirror it, and call that Arabic support.
The number we show a student or a teacher is the number that will actually happen: prices are all-in, commission is stated, and the refund policy is shown with both of its conditions before payment rather than after.
Your content stays yours: download your courses and materials and take them with you whenever you like. Student data belongs to the platform and stays on it — you see it to teach with, and it is not exported. And anyone who bought your course keeps their access whatever changes between us: a student is never punished for a commercial dispute.
Content review before publication, reporting tools inside every community, and a clear conduct policy. An unmoderated community becomes an advertising board within weeks; we moderate.
We never see or store your card number — payment runs through a licensed provider using secure tokens. What we do collect is written in the privacy policy in language a non-lawyer can follow.
One finished feature beats five half-built ones. When something is still in development we say so in place, instead of showing a button that does nothing.
